 STEPS ON HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 7 & 10 IN VIRTUAL BOX

WINDOWS 7

Open VirtualBox and click "New."

Name your virtual machine

Select "Microsoft Windows" as the operating system type and "Windows 7" as the version.

Allocate memory at least 2G recommended .

Create a virtual hard disk. Choose a size (at least 16GB recommended, but more is better). A dynamically allocated disk is suggested

2. Configuring the Virtual Machine:

Right-click the VM and select "Settings."

Under "System," adjust processor cores if desired.

Under "Display," increase video memory

Under "Storage," add your Windows 7 ISO file to the virtual optical drive.

3. Installing Windows 7:

Start the virtual machine. It will boot from the Windows 7 ISO.

Choose the "Custom (advanced)" installation option.

The installation process will take time. Once complete, the VM will restart.

Installing Windows 10 in VirtualBox

1. Download and install VirtualBox .

2. Obtain a Windows 10 ISO file .

3. Open VirtualBox and click "New."

 4. Name the VM, select "Microsoft Windows" and "Windows 10" as the OS type and version.

 5. Allocate RAM (at least 2GB recommended).

 6. Create a virtual hard disk (VDI recommended, dynamically allocated or fixed size).

 7. Set the hard disk size (at least 20GB recommended).

 8. Click "Create."

4. Go to Settings -> Storage.

5. Add the Windows 10 ISO to the virtual optical drive.

 11. Start the VM.
